Key features

• Ingests a CSV or a text PDF table with Date, Description, and Amount. Each kept line becomes a SQLite transaction with a stable identity.
• Skips a repeated file, and skips a repeated date, description, and amount, without replacing an existing row's provenance.
• Keeps interpretation off the raw description. Classified, ambiguous, and unknown all stay valid, and a database override wins over the sample merchant table.
• Stores confirmed screenshot activity as provisional. A later statement links one unlinked posted provisional only when the date and amount are unique.
• Reports cash flow and spend coverage by reading the ledger. Measurement does not write rows.

How to use

Python 3.10 or newer. Clone the repository and work from its root. There is no page to open. On macOS or Linux, activate with source .venv/bin/activate instead of the Windows line below. pfrcs demo runs a synthetic story in data/demo.db and does not open the operator ledger. To load your own export:

pfrcs init creates data/finance.db and loads nothing. pfrcs ingest takes one CSV or one text PDF with Date, Description, and Amount. A PDF that is only a picture of a statement stops instead of guessing rows. pfrcs state prints the measurement and does not write rows. The database stays on the machine.
